Data Deletion Instructions

When you connect your Facebook account to Reads, we store your OAuth access token and basic profile information to manage your ad campaigns. You can request deletion of this data at any time using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Delete from within Reads

1. Log in to your Reads account at app.reads.az.
2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations.
3. Find the Meta Ads connection and click Disconnect. This removes your access token immediately.
4. To delete your entire account and all associated data, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Option 2: Remove via Facebook Settings

1. Go to your Facebook account settings: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites.
2. Find Reads in the list of connected apps.
3. Click Remove.
4. Facebook will notify us to delete your data. We will remove your Meta access token and any associated ad data within 30 days.

Option 3: Email Request

Send a deletion request to privacy@reads.az with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your Reads account. We will confirm deletion within 72 hours and complete it within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

• Your Meta OAuth access and refresh tokens
• Your Meta ad account identifiers linked to Reads
• Synced campaign and performance data pulled from the Meta API
• Your Reads account profile (name, email, preferences), if you delete your full account
